Inspire.
Our classrooms are bright, open, with minimal distractions or clutter, giving teachers space to select interesting provocations which lead to meaningful and authentic learning experiences.
Create.
Hands-on provocations bridge authentic learning experiences in science, history, geography, literacy, and math with the fine arts.
Grow.
We work together with parents and students to support the needs of each student, socially, emotionally, and academically.
Helping them discover their world.
Learning does not begin at age 5 when kids enter elementary school. Research shows that during early childhood our brains soak up information about their world at a rapid pace. That is why we use the name Primary School for our youngest learners, including toddlers (2-3.5 years) and pre-kindergarten (3-5 years), rather than "preschool" which literally means "before school." The earliest years of child development are some of the most crucial, for both socio-emotional and academic growth.
Respecting their innate desire to learn,
our school emphasizes a strong sense of community and the flexibility of an emergent curriculum. Before a child can feel strong and confident in their academic pursuits, they must first feel secure and supported, developing and strengthening their emotional intelligence.
